CCIC Step to Calgary Event

On Sep.12, a series of lectures on exporting China organized by CCIC Canada and co-sponsored by Henan Association of Alberta, Calgary Association of Chinese professionals and entrepreneurs was held at Mount Royal University, Calgary.

The Consulate General of the people’s Republic of China in Calgary, Alberta Ministry of agriculture and forestry, Calgary branch of Bank of China, Alberta Food Processing Association, Calgary Micro-Life, Bank of Montreal and PWC Canada gave strong support to the seminar. The event was actively responded by Alberta producers, exporters, trade executives and other agricultural and food industry companies. Nearly 150 guests attended the event.

In this lecture, CCIC Canada experts focused on three hot points including « China’s food law/regulation system and import process », « One-stop-service of export acceleration platform » and « China’s cross-border e-commerce policy and practice », and actively interacted with the guests in the following Q&A session. After the meeting, the participants agreed that the lecture was rich and detailed, clarified their doubts about China’s import policies, laws and regulations, enhanced their confidence in exporting to China’s market, and expected to continue to obtain the consultation and technical support from CCIC Canada in the subsequent trade practices.
