The server of PSI system locates in Beijing, China. Please make sure you have high speed internet access so the connection could be stable and fast. Never use wireless internet access, which is fancy but not reliable.

Please note that the photo should be in .jpg format, resolution 800*600 pixels, the file size should be no larger than 200K. Otherwise the photos could not be uploaded/ shown successfully.

3. We need Draft for double confirm purpose?
For Class A suppliers, we will work out draft for your confirmation. For Class B suppliers, you may work out draft by yourself. Just follow the steps:
a) Result Registration: please check “Temporarily save inspection record” before you SUBMIT;
b) Go back to “Result Registration”, find the specific Ref. No., click on “Detailed Information”;
c) There comes one pop-up window named “Inspection Record”;
d) Go to the bottom of this window, there is one button named “Draft of Certificate”;
e) Click on this button, you will find the draft for double confirm purpose (you may need to install one Active X on your computer. If you can not install successfully, please contact us);
f) If you find nothing wrong, then SUBMIT the inspection record;

4. How could we revise the draft?
For Class A suppliers, please contact us for revision. For Class B suppliers, you may revise the draft according to the B/L before you SUBMIT the inspection record. If you have something to be reflected on the final certificate, such as specific commodity name, Booking No., B/L number, or L/C number, etc, please make sure that you have inputted that content in Column 4 “Other content need to be showed in inspection certificates” during Result Registration.

5. What kind of recyclable materials are subject to mandatory radiation testing?
 All recyclable materials are subject to mandatory radiation testing, according to GB16487-2005. Please make sure your inspectors are equipped with calibrated radiation meters. We will not accept inspection records without proper radiation testing.

6. Sometimes the category of cargo is ambiguous. Where could we find a detailed list?
Please find the list at: Category.pdf which is supposed to be an authoritative version;

7. The shipping company split the B/L, some of the containers were rolled over to next vessel. How am I supposed to deal with the inspection certificate?
 The PSI system does not have SPLIT function. Actually, you do not need to split the inspection order. Say, you have 10 containers, 5 of them are rolled over. You can complete the formalities at the destination port with the certificate for the first 5 containers. When the outstanding 5 containers arrive, you can use the same certificate to cover them. If you are concerned about the situation when the CIQ may not give you back the original certificate, we can issue two sets of certificates.

8. The actual destination port is different from that on the original inspection order, should we revise that?
No, it is not necessary. The destination port does not show on the certificate. However, please try your best to be accurate with the inspection order.

9. The size of photos is reduced to 40KB with photo editing program. Would that be ok to view?
 Reducing the size of JPG files will lose a lot of details of picture. Please do not minimize the size too much, or we can see nothing but mosaic. 100~150 KB is an appropriate size, you can upload the photos of this size easily, and we can view it clearly.
